DAY 1 — HCMC
Check into your hotel.
DAY 2 — HCMC
Visit the former Viet Cong stronghold at Cu Chi. Back to HCM city. Orientation tour by cyclo of the main attractions.
DAY 3 — HCMC
Today it’s off to the fascinating Mekong where you get to see how life is dependant on the river for survival.
DAY 4 — Hoi An
Short flight to Danang before transferring to Hoi An. A short orientation tour followed by free time.
DAY 5 — Hoi An
Free time for you to make the most of what Hoi An has to offer.
DAY 6 — Hoi An
Today is a look into how food is prepared and made with a cooking demo (included). Includes a visit to the local market.
DAY 7 — Hue
Taking the scenic route over the spectacular Hai Van Pass. Enjoy the many sights and slower pace of this tranquil city.
DAY 8 — Hue
Visit the Citadel and one of the Nguyen Emperors’ tombs, the famed Thien Mu Pagoda and also enjoy a dragon boat cruise on the Perfume River. In the afternoon it’s back on the overnight train to Hanoi.
DAY 9 — Halong Bay
Early breakfast before driving to Halong Bay. Spending the night on the boat allows you to sit back and enjoy the tranquility of Halong Bay.
DAY 10 — Hanoi
Hanoi City tour including a visit to Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and the old French-built prison.
DAY 11 — Hanoi
Today is a free day at leisure to take in all that Hanoi has to offer.
DAY 12 — Hanoi
Departure day.
