DAY 1 — Bangkok
Check into your hotel.

DAY 2 — Bangkok
Explore bustling Bangkok before boarding the night train bound for Chiang Mai. Visit the Grand Palace, Wat Po and take a boat tour of the famous klongs.

DAY 3 — Chiang Mai
Chiang Mai is a city full of heritage and culture. Enjoy the highlights including Wat Doi Suthep, Thailand’s holiest temple.

DAY 4 — Chiang Khong
Travel to the border town of Chiang Khong. We stay overnight in a guesthouse on the Mekong River looking across to Laos.

DAY 5/6 — Mekong River
Travelling down the Mekong River on a local river boat is the perfect introduction to the people and pace of Laos. Through small villages, children wave from the riverbanks. Visit Pak Ao Caves before arriving at Luang Prabang.

DAY 7 — Luang Prabang
Free day. Enjoy the relaxed pace and charming town of beautiful temples and friendly people. Stroll and bargain at the night market.

DAY 8 — Luang Prabang
Your guide will accompany you to the beautiful Kwang Sii waterfalls where you can enjoy a refreshing swim if weather permits.

DAY 9 — Vientiane
Today you will travel by air to Vientiane. Enjoy the laid back atmosphere of Laos’ gentle capital city.

DAY 10 — Vientiane
Experience the ambiance of the most relaxed capital cities in Asia on a guided city tour.

DAY 11 — Hanoi
Bid farewell to one capital city and fly to Hanoi, the French influenced capital of Vietnam.

DAY 12 — Halong Bay
Swim in the bay‘s emerald waters and explore caves. Spending the night on the boat allows you to sit back and enjoy the tranquility of Halong Bay.

DAY 13 — Hanoi
Back in Hanoi your guide will take you sightseeing before boarding the train this evening.

DAY 14
— Hue
Visit the Imperial Citadel follo-wed by a visit to one of the Nguyen Emperors‘ tombs.

DAY 15 — Hoi An
Leave Hue and head south through coastal rice paddies, before taking the scenic mountainous route over the spectacular Hai Van Pass to Hoi An.

DAY 16
— Hoi An
Free day. Hoi An is a shopping mecca and famous for its tailoring. Enjoy the local sea food, relax on the beaches or take a cooking class.

DAY 17
— Ho Chi Minh City
A short flight brings you to the economic hub of Ho Chi Minh City. Absorb the sights and sounds of this famous Asian city.

DAY 18 — Ho Chi Minh City
An early start to visit the former Viet Cong stronghold at Cu Chi. Return to the city for lunch and a cyclo tour of the main attractions, including the very sobering War Remnants Museum.

DAY 19 — Chau Doc
Leave the city and travel to the depths of the Mekong and the bustling river town of Chau Doc.

DAY 20 — Phnom Penh
The mighty Mekong River is your connection between two countries. Travel by boat to Cambodia’s capital city.

DAY 21 — Phnom Penh
With a volatile past, Phnom Penh is a fascinating city to explore. Visit the Royal Palace and Genocide Museum or the elegant riverside Sisowath Quay.

DAY 22 — Siem Reap
A short flight brings you to the sleepy town of Siem Reap. It is the gateway to the archeological wonder of Angkor. Start your exploration this afternoon and catch the sunset and be amazed by the Angkor complex.

DAY 23 — Siem Reap
Your guide will help you experience the temple area today. Take in the grandness of Angkor, the faces of the Bayon temples, and the overgrown Ta Prohm.

DAY 24 — Siem Reap
With more than 100 stone temples to choose from, your exploration continues. After a boat trip on Tonle Sap lake your day will end with a traditional dinner and dance show.

DAY 25 — Bangkok
Transfer overland into Thailand. In the evening you will arrive back in Bangkok for our farewell dinner.

DAY 26 — Bangkok
Departure day.
